As a Construction Project Manager, you'll lead multiple custom residential builds from pre-construction through final walkthrough. You'll be the point person for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and our internal team, owning the schedule, the budget, the quality, and the client experience. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibilities ranging from site walks and inspections to detailed plan reviews and client updates. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete life cycle of high-end custom home projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and specification-accurate completion.
- Build and manage detailed project schedules in Buildertrend, proactively adjusting as needed.
- Lead subcontractors and vendors, enforcing strict quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Serve as the primary client contact, offering consistent, confident, and thoughtful communication throughout the build.
- Conduct and document daily site walks and quality checks.
- Ensure that material procurement and equipment coordination meet production timelines.
- Maintain updated plans, scopes of work, and documentation.
- Identify jobsite issues early and facilitate resolution.
- Coordinate and attend all required inspections and jurisdictional visits.
- Track change orders, job costs, and daily progress reports in Buildertrend.
- Conduct final walkthroughs and deliver seamless project closeouts.
- Assist with budgeting, bidding, subcontractor award process, and plan revisions.
- Support permitting, redlines, and pre-construction coordination.
- Collaborate with the internal team to open, secure, and maintain job site standards daily.
- 5 or more years of residential construction project management experience (high-end or custom home experience strongly preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of construction practices, scheduling, budgeting, and code compliance.
- Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar project management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, must be comfortable working with affluent clientele.
- High level of tech literacy: email, mobile apps, cloud tools, CRM, and daily reporting.
- Clean driving record and professional appearance, our people are the brand.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously while maintaining a calm, proactive mindset.
