The Customer Service Supervisor drives on-time delivery performance by coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities, monitoring key performance indicators, and collaborating cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, Quality, and Sales. Through effective leadership, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making, this position fosters a customer-focused culture that enhances service levels, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

This Role Is Responsible To
- Lead daily shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material handling operations.
- Ensure the timely and accurate movement of materials to support production and customer requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through effective inventory control processes and cycle count programs.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet established targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities to ensure on-time deliveries and cost-effective freight management.
- Develop, coach, and lead logistics team members to achieve performance objectives and support employee growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Purchasing, and other departments to resolve material flow and logistics issues.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in warehousing, transportation, and material handling processes.
- Manage logistics resources, equipment, and space utilization to maximize operational effectiveness.
- Support new product launches, customer requirements, and business growth initiatives through effective logistics planning.
- Investigate and resolve shipping, inventory, and delivery discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and communicate logistics performance reports and action plans to leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Associate Degree with equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations.
- Minimum 2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience within an automotive manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Experience working with customer portals, EDI, and ERP systems required.
