We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Account Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective account management, business development, and strategic marketing initiatives. This role requires a strong focus on B2B sales, with an emphasis on building lasting relationships with clients while utilizing advanced CRM software and sales tools.
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect for new business and follow up on leads from various sources.
- Consult with customers to understand their specific business and hauling requirements.
- Present and demonstrate new and used commercial trucks, including light- to medium-duty models.
- Provide expertise on truck specifications, features, and applications to help customers make informed decisions.
- Negotiate sales and financing terms, preparing and processing all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Achieve or exceed sales and gross profit targets.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- Work collaboratively with our Service and Parts departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product releases.
- Utilize and maintain our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track leads and customer interactions.
- Assist with the delivery of vehicles and ensure customer satisfaction post-sale.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive, commercial truck, or heavy equipment industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicles and their various applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency with computer systems and CRM software.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
