Hiring for: Full-time & Part-time
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and standards.
- Operate ultrasound equipment effectively and safely during imaging procedures.
- Conduct patient assessments and history-taking to ensure proper examination technique.
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to discuss findings and patient care.
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and imaging results in medical records.
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assists radiologists and qualified providers with special procedures (biopsies, aspiration, etc.).
- Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
- Willingness to adapt to changes in workload, procedures, and schedule.
- Additional duties assigned.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic health science program or School of Ultrasonography; and registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or be registry eligible.
- Prefer prior sonographer experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular exams.
- Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to operate ultrasound machines and technology effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong observational and analytical skills.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Required to be current in BLS (Basic Life Support) by the standards of the American Heart Association.
- Required to show proof of having completed Mandatory Reporter course at the time of hire or attend within 6 months of start date.
- Must adhere to all training requirements as mandated by Federal, State, and Professional licensure and regulatory standards.
