Position Summary:
The Program Administrator & Academic Advisor provides academic advising, program coordination, onboarding support, and student progress monitoring for students in the MBA Accounting and ERP & Analytics and MS BAT programs. This position supports students from admission through graduation by helping them understand program requirements, course sequencing, academic policies, registration, and degree progress.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to review academic records, transcripts, and degree requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle confidential student information with discretion and professionalism
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Preferred Qualification:
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in academic advising, student services, higher education administration, program coordination, or a related field
- Experience with CAMS, Canvas, or other educational systems
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
Job Responsibilities:
- Advise students on program requirements, course sequencing, registration, academic policies, and timely degree completion
- Review transcripts, prior coursework, degrees, waivers, and student performance to guide course selection and academic planning
- Perform degree checks for new and continuing students and maintain accurate advising and student progress records
- Enter and update student schedules in CAMS each semester and coordinate schedule changes with relevant offices
- Review upcoming course offerings against students’ remaining requirements and identify progression issues
- Respond to student inquiries via email, phone, Zoom, or in person and provide timely guidance
- Support onboarding, orientation, registration, and graduation coordination for assigned students and programs
- Collaborate with Admissions, Enrollment Center, Financial Aid, Registrar, Student Accounts, Career Center, DSO, and faculty to support student success.
