Shipping Coordinator

Salary Range: $20.00 - $23.00 / hour

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Warehouse Shipping Coordinator will support daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations at the US Distribution Center in Longmont, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is organized, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves to help the team succeed. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate all daily shipping activities, including picking, packing, labeling, and loading of outgoing shipments.


• Coordinate daily outbound shipments and inbound deliveries with sales, customer service, and operations teams. 


• Prepare shipping documents, labels, bills of lading, and packing slips


• Verify orders for accuracy prior to shipment


• Utilize NetSuite (ERP) extensively for:
  
  
  
  • Processing sales orders and creating shipments.
  
  
  • Generating shipping labels and customs documentation.
  
  
  • Tracking shipments and updating order statuses.
  
  
  • Reconciling shipping discrepancies.
  
  
  • Generating reports on shipping performance and metrics.
  
  


• Receive incoming materials and inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies


• Maintain organized inventory and warehouse areas


• Work closely with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries


• Update shipment and inventory information in company systems


• Assist with cycle counts and inventory tracking


• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, shipping, logistics, or related experience. 


• High school diploma or GED required


• Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and punctuality


• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel


• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with using ERP software (NetSuite or similar) for generating picking and packing labels, fulfilling orders, monitoring shipments, planning the daily fulfillment queue, and using reports for inventory-related tasks.


• Experience with various shipping methods (e.g., parcel, LTL, FTL, international) and carrier management.


• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed


• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment


• Self-motivated with strong follow-through


• Comfortable working onsite daily as part of a collaborative operations team
