What You Will Do
- Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading
- Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
- Route items to various departments and put away stock items in proper location
- Operate lift truck or hoist
- Verify receipts and log them according to the required procedures
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Conduct bin and stock maintenance (physically & in ERP system)
- Advise management of cycle count issues on a timely basis
- Receive all inbound parts & transfers
- Other projects as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of related experience preferred
- Forklift operations experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs up to 2/3 of workday
