- BLS and CPR Certification required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Patient, tactful, and compassionate with a cheerful disposition
- Willingness to meet residents where they are and provide care with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene and bathing
- Prepare and transport residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, and services
- Respond promptly to resident call lights
- Attend in-service education, training programs, and meetings as directed
- Follow infection control and isolation procedures per facility policy
- Accurately document care and required information each shift
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Uphold resident rights and company standards at all times
