About the OpportunityMagnolia Primary Care LLC is a physician-led primary care practice dedicated to high-quality, longitudinal patient care. We are expanding from a solo-physician practice to a two-physician team and are looking for a dedicated partner in health.
We are an accredited clinic (NCQA, BCBS) dedicated to high-quality patient care. We prioritize quality outcomes and the patient experience over high-volume "churn," offering a sustainable pace and a work culture that respects your clinical expertise and your time.
The Schedule & Patient Load- Clinical Commitment: 36 hrs of patient-facing clinical time per week.
- Protected Admin Time: 4 hours per week for charting and follow-ups. No patients are scheduled during this time.
- Manageable Volume: Average of 16 patients per clinical day (approx. 3,440 encounters annually).
- 100% Outpatient: No hospital rounds and no nursing home requirements.
- Modern Call Model: Telephonic/Telehealth only. Patients request urgent telehealth visits via a dedicated line; no constant "nuisance" calls.
We use a transparent "Base Performance Share" model designed to reward clinical excellence.
- Guaranteed Base Salary: $190,000 – $200,000 (dependent on experience).
- Yearly Performance Bonus: Additional incentives triggered by meeting visit thresholds and quality benchmarks.
- Total Time Off: 20 days of total PTO (Vacation/Sick/CME) plus 5 paid national holidays.

- Provide comprehensive primary care to a dedicated adult patient panel.
- Maintain the clinic’s quality status (BCBS, medicare) through high-quality documentation and closing "gaps in care."
- Utilize our EMR “AthenaHealth” system for efficient, accurate clinical reporting.
- Respond to urgent after-hours telehealth requests within a 1-hour window (low volume).
- Education: MD from an accredited institution.
- Certification: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Alabama Medical License and DEA registration.
