MAGNOLIA PRESCHOOL is a small preschool in Covington, Louisiana. We are hiring a Lead 2-year-old Preschool Teacher to join our Magnolia Preschool team. The successful candidate has Lead Teacher experience teaching 2-year-olds in a preschool classroom environment, is present every day, on time, has excellent communication skills, and is a team player. Preschool Teachers at Magnolia Preschool are responsible for providing support to children in the classroom by teaching daily Frog Street lesson plans, keeping the written school schedule, and ensuring that the children in the classroom feel comfortable, loved, and safe.

Responsibilities:

• Implement daily Frog Street lesson plan activities.
• Help children with their learning and care needs.
• Follow a specific written classroom schedule.
• Be reliable and present daily for scheduled Teacher hours.
• Abide by the laws in Bulletin 137, Louisiana's Early Learning Center laws.
• Follow health and sanitation cleaning procedures in the classroom.
• Assist in the development of lesson plans and activities.
• Monitor children's progress and work as a team with other teachers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and leads every day with a respectful, positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
