What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Afternoon Assistant Teacher position at Magnolia Preparatory Academy?
Magnolia Preparatory Academy is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Afternoon Assistant Teacher for our Infant classroom in Katy, TX!
We are looking for someone interested in part time. The part time position would have the working hours of around 1:30/2:30 pm- 6:30 pm Monday- Friday.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
- Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must pass a background check
