We’re looking for a Waste Water Pump Apprentice to support our Pump Technicians in servicing and maintaining pump systems across commercial properties. This is a full-time, entry-level role based out of our Laurel, MD office — perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning mechanical systems, and growing into a skilled trade career.
Training Commitment
This role is a Three-year apprenticeship program with structured training and mentorship. You’ll gain the technical skills, certifications, and field experience needed to advance to a full Pump Technician position.

What You’ll Do
- Assist Pump Technicians with repairs and maintenance of wastewater pump
- Help install new pump systems, motors, piping, and valves.
- Assist with mounting, alignment, and connection of pumps and motors.
- Support senior technicians in setting up control systems and performing start-up procedures.
- Gather tools, materials, and equipment needed for job sites.
- Drive company vehicles and tow equipment as needed
- Use maps or GPS to navigate to job sites
- Perform plant maintenance and general cleanup
- Work flexible hours and participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Requirements:What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Must obtain an D.O.T. Medical Card at hire(we’ll help you with that)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools/equipment
- Positive attitude, dependability, and eagerness to learn
- Comfortable working with wastewater and septic materials
- Previous drain cleaning experience is a plus
