Experienced Pharmacy Technician - Retail Operations

Magnolia Pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacy technician who enjoys organizing pharmacy workflow and working in an independent pharmacy environment.

Magnolia Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy located in San Antonio, Florida that focuses on personalized patient care, compounding services, and wellness-based pharmacy programs. We are seeking an experienced pharmacy technician who enjoys organization, improving workflow, and helping a pharmacy operate efficiently.

This position is ideal for a technician who wants to grow beyond basic prescription filling and play an important role in pharmacy operations.

Position Details

• Hours: 30–40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–5:30 PM
• Occasional Saturday: One Saturday per month (9:00 AM–12:00 PM)
• Holidays: Closed for all major holidays
• Location: In person
• Pay: Competitive wages based on experience

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and fill prescriptions
• Assist with insurance processing and troubleshooting
• Communicate with patients and providers by phone
• Maintain organized prescription workflow throughout the day
• Manage will-call bins and coordinate prescription pickup workflow
• Assist with medication inventory management and ordering
• Monitor medication expiration dates and assist with overstock returns
• Support pill pack organization and medication synchronization programs
• Assist with coordinating prescription workflow between technicians and pharmacist
• Help maintain an efficient and organized pharmacy environment

Qualifications

• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License required
• At least 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Experience with insurance processing and retail pharmacy workflow
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly and professional communication with patients and healthcare providers
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative pharmacy team
