Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO. The Addiction Medicine NP/PA will conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, provide addiction counseling, and manage medication-assisted treatment. The role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients with substance use disorders. Additional tasks include monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records, and educating patients on addiction and recovery processes. This position will work a consistent schedule 3 days per week, including Saturdays.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Experience in addiction counseling and medication-assisted treatment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration.
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Knowledge of primary care, behavioral health services, and healthcare regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centric approach to care.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, or related field.
