Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within our food service establishment. Duties: - Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand - Ensure that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety regulations - Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors - Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste properly - Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries - Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen Requirements: - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed At our establishment, we offer competitive pay rates, opportunities for career advancement, and a positive work environment.
