Lead Baker / Production Lead

Magnolia Kitchen & Bakery is growing, and we’re looking for the right person to help lead production in the kitchen as we continue expanding wholesale, catering, events, and our upcoming cookie subscription program.

We’re known for making what many of our customers call “the best cookies they’ve ever had,” and we take a lot of pride in the quality, consistency, and creativity behind everything we make.

This role is for someone who genuinely cares about food, works clean and organized, moves with urgency, and can help lead a team and kitchen production day-to-day.

This is not just scooping cookies and punching a clock — we’re looking for someone who wants to help build something great with us long term.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and overseeing daily production
• Dough mixing, scaling, baking, finishing, packaging
• Maintaining consistency and quality control
• Helping manage kitchen flow and production systems
• Working alongside and helping lead assistants/team members
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and efficient
• Inventory awareness and freezer organization
• Helping us continue improving systems as we grow

What We’re Looking For:

• Baking or kitchen production experience preferred
• Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
• Calm under pressure and able to move fast
• Strong communication and leadership mentality
• Someone who takes pride in producing really great food
• Early morning availability required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

Pay:

• $24–25/hr based on experience
• Growth opportunities as the company continues growing
