About us: Vermillion Convalescent Center is a skilled nursing facility located in Clinton, Indiana. Vermillion Convalescent Center is seeking compassionate Nurse Aide Students to grow and become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care to our residents.
About the Role: Our state-approved program provides Nurse Aide Students with the knowledge and skills they need to become a certified nursing assistant. As a part of this program, students will receive hands-on training, classroom instruction, and clinical experience under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.
Our program covers all aspects of patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Upon successful completion of CNA class, you may be offered permanent employment.
About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
- Ability to communicate, written and oral.
- Must be patient, have tact in dealing with others.
- Extended periods of standing, bending, and heavy lifting.
