CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
We are looking for a part time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our family at Magnolia Family Practice. A MINIMUM of 5 years experience in a physician’s office with adult, geriatric and pediatric patients is REQUIRED. Also, a MINIMUM of 1 year of experience with eClinicalWorks EMR is REQUIRED.

- Able to assist with lifting and/or moving patients
- Able to lift supplies and equipment up to 20 lbs
- Able to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch at times
Required qualifications:
- MINIMUM of 5 years of recent experience with adult and pediatric patients
- MINIMUM of 1 year of recent experience with eClinicalWorks EMR
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a Medical Assisting Program through an accredited college with HANDS-ON CLINICAL TRAINING
- Credentialed through one of the following certification entities:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- If not certified through the AAMA or AMT, then other certifications MAY be considered, including:
- ~Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association (NHA)
- ~National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCTT)
- Current CPR certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
