About the Role
Magnolia Family Medicine has launched a brand-new in-house laboratory, and we’re looking for a skilled, experienced Laboratory Technician to help take it to the next level. If you’re motivated, independent, and excited by the idea of helping build and expand a growing lab from the ground up, this is the place for you.
You’ll play a key role in shaping workflows, supporting compliance, and guiding the lab’s growth as we expand test menus and capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Help continue building and optimizing our new in-house lab
- Develop and refine SOPs and workflows
- Perform specimen collection, processing, and moderate-complexity testing
- Ensure full CLIA/OSHA/COLA compliance
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
- Manage supplies, inventory, and reagents
- Support validation of new assays and analyzers as the lab grows
- Maintain accurate labeling, documentation, and QC
- Work closely with providers and clinical staff to deliver timely results
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field (Required)
- ASCP certification — MLT or MLS (Required)
- 1–2 years of clinical lab experience preferred
- Experience with lab setup, new lab operations, or expansion is a major plus
- Strong understanding of CLIA standards and lab compliance
- Self-starter mindset with excellent organization and troubleshooting skills

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
