Warehouse Assistant

Description

Joseph J. Magnolia is looking for a harder work with a great personality to work as a warehouse assistant. In this role you will be responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. This person should have experience as a handy man but also great with computers to handle shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment
• Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements
• Operate industrial power equipment
• Restock and replenish as appropriate
• Perform general maintenance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
• Fill in for other positions as needed
• Perform general warehouse service duties
• Periodic bending, kneeling, lifting of 50 pounds and climbing
• Responsible for tracking company tools used on job sites
• Responsible for tracking all tools and equipment sent out for repair
• Assists with on/offloading of deliveries and pickups
  
  

Requirements

• High integrity and high energy
• Ability to work in a team and / or one-on-one with our customer
• Experience driving forklift
• Knowledge of general tools and equipment
• Strong customer service skills
• Commercial HVAC/plumbing experience preferred
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as standing, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
