This role is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of installation operations, with a strong focus on implementing and maintaining the Nexstar Service System. The ideal candidate will lead by example, performing at a high level as a technician while also developing, coaching, and mentoring HVAC Install Technicians and apprentices. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, quality workmanship, and strong customer relationships.

This position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, quality workmanship, and strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC installation duties in the field while serving as a working supervisor.
- Train, coach, and mentor HVAC Install Technicians and apprentices.
- Lead by example to meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations.
- Implement and maintain the Nexstar Service System in field operations.
- Support technicians in planning, coordinating, and executing installation jobs.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction on every job.
- Monitor and review payroll, productivity, and prior-day performance metrics.
- Conduct field coaching through hands-on observation and performance feedback.
- Organize and direct field operations to meet company goals and objectives.
- Assist in developing and maintaining ongoing training programs for team members.
- 5–10 years of HVAC installation field experience.
- 1-2 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Journeyman HVAC License required.
- Journeyman Gas Fitter License required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze performance and provide constructive coaching.
- Intermediate administrative and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to manage field technicians and operations effectively.
