Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman plumbers and HVAC technicians with installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Handle and maintain tools, equipment, and materials used in plumbing and mechanical work.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, threading, and assembling pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Assist with the installation and servicing of heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment, including boilers, furnaces, air conditioners, and ductwork.
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical problems, and assist with implementing effective solutions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
