Company Description

Operating Company of Independent Equity Sponsor, SMB, more detail shared with qualified applicants

Role Description

We’re a growing construction services company with two locations, two flagship brands, and three associated brands. We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to bring it all under one clear, confident identity. This is a build-it role: you’ll own marketing end to end, from strategy and brand standards to the campaigns that put qualified leads in front of our sales team.

You’ll work directly with leadership, project teams, and the sales department, with real latitude to decide where the marketing effort goes. The work spans digital content, proposals, print collateral, events, and internal communications. It should carry our values in every piece: tenacity, resourcefulness, forward thinking, teamwork, accountability, and continuous growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the marketing strategy. Build the positioning, messaging, and brand standards that make our capabilities and differentiators obvious to the people buying them.
  • Build and run targeted campaigns across direct mail, social media, PPC, home shows, and trade events to drive qualified leads in priority geographic markets.
  • Define and report marketing and sales KPIs, then use them to shift effort toward to optimize ROI.
  • Own the company websites. Select and manage a developer, or build them yourself, and keep new projects, company news, and SEO content current.
  • Manage social channels with a steady stream of completed projects, team stories, and industry insight.
  • Run email marketing to clients, partners, and prospects, from nurture sequences to project announcements.
  • Manage digital advertising and analytics, and translate the results into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Design and produce print collateral that communicates our offerings clearly, including brochures, spec sheets, trifolds, banners, and proposal templates.
  • Capture and edit photo and video on job sites and in the shop, building a library that shows off both the work and the people behind it.
  • Support business development with sharp, consistent proposal and presentation materials.
  • Use AI tools to move faster on drafting, research, competitor and market analysis, and asset production, while keeping a human hand on final voice.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5 years in marketing, ideally in construction, engineering, architecture, or another project-based trade.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, plus a good eye for visual storytelling.
  • Working proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office.
  • Hands-on experience running websites, social platforms, and digital marketing tools.
  • Sharp organizational and project management skills, with genuine attention to detail.
  • Comfort collaborating with project managers, estimators, and leadership, plus the confidence to push your own ideas.
  • Willingness to get out to job sites for photography and content capture.

Nice to Have

·       Experience marketing a multi-brand or multi-location business.

·       Familiarity with the residential or commercial construction sales cycle.

·       Video editing, motion graphics, or drone photography skills.

·       Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.

·       Experience building AI-assisted workflows, prompt libraries, or brand-voice guidelines for a marketing team.

Why This Role

This is the marketing function’s first real owner, not a seat on an established team. You’ll set the direction, choose the tools, and see your work land in the pipeline. The role can be based out of either our Arlington, WA or Portland, OR office, with occasional travel between locations, to job sites, and to industry events. If you would rather build something than maintain it, this is the job.
