Duties

• Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas during busy meal periods to support smooth operations.
• Support food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies or assisting with basic kitchen duties under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly.
• Help set up catering or banquet events by organizing serving ware and ensuring all items are ready for service.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and prevent cross-contamination.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning schedules are maintained during shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues during busy hours.
• Basic understanding of food handling practices and sanitation protocols.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
