What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Coordinator position at Magnolia Assisted Living?

All candidates must have a valid driver's license and desire to help the elderly.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Transports residents to appointments, grocery stores, etc., as assigned by supervisor.
- Schedules appointments for residents in accordance with company policies.
- Understands how to fully operate assigned vehicle and associated equipment.
- Responsible for vehicle safety inspection and cleaning of the assigned vehicles.
- Identifies maintenance issues and reports any issues with the vehicles to Regional Director.
- Follows transportation schedule.
- Demonstrates patience and good nature when assisting residents with their transportation needs.
- Assists residents with mobility and transfers to and from vehicles as needed.
- Attends meetings as necessary.
- Participates in other professional development activities as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident, facility operations and personnel.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
