Technical Support Engineer (Integrations / API)
Location: New York (Onsite)
Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000 equity

This is a strong engineering-led environment with a fast-moving product team, and the company is scaling quickly with strong investor backing.
The Role
We’re hiring a Technical Support Engineer to sit at the intersection of engineering, integrations, and customer success.
This is not a traditional support role. You will act more like a customer-facing engineer, responsible for diagnosing, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues across APIs, integrations, and data flows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and resolve complex technical support cases end-to-end
- Debug API issues, integration failures, and data flow problems
- Work directly with customers to troubleshoot production issues
- Analyse logs, error states, and system behaviour to identify root causes
- Collaborate with engineering to escalate and resolve deeper product issues
- Contribute to improving internal tooling, documentation, and support processes
- Act as the technical bridge between customers and the engineering team
Experience
- 3-7 years of experience in a technical support or support engineering role
- Hands-on experience debugging APIs and supporting B2B software products
- Experience working in a high-growth VC-backed startup or scale-up environment
- Direct exposure to production systems, with ownership of technical issue resolution
- Experience in API infrastructure, data integration, or adjacent tooling companies
Technical Skills
- Strong fundamentals in debugging applications and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with API troubleshooting and integration support
- Comfortable working with TypeScript-based systems
- Experience querying and debugging data issues
- Ability to analyse logs, trace requests, and perform code-level triage
- Strong understanding of data flows, webhooks, and third-party integrations
