Take charge of aircraft safety and operations with the overall responsibility of the MCC, including staffing and budgets; plus, you’ll have the authority to stop or ground aircraft when necessary. You’ll make critical decisions that ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained, giving you real responsibility and influence over aircraft readiness and performance.

You’ll be an excellent communicator and coordinator between different departments, such as Flight Dispatch, Systems Operations Control, Line & Heavy Maintenance, Inspection, Engineering, and Purchasing.

What you’ll do

Manage and coordinate Safety Management System (SMS) activities, including hazard identification, risk assessments, and change management. You’ll advise senior executives on safety performance and drive improvements where needed.

Oversee the Maintenance Control Center (MCC), ensuring safe aircraft operations and seamless shift transitions. You’ll brief senior management on fleet status and drive business results by developing your team’s skills and workflows.

Provide technical guidance to Line Maintenance, RON Maintenance, and Heavy Check Maintenance personnel, ensuring effective maintenance actions and customer satisfaction. You’ll also participate in strategic planning and long-term objectives implementation.

Maintain and improve MEL/CDL/NEF programs, audits, and documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy. You’ll manage performance objectives, training, and scheduling for Maintenance Controllers, supporting your team’s development.

What you’ll need

  • FAA-certificated mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
  • Five years of combined heavy and line maintenance and maintenance control experience
  • Five years of supervisory/management experience in a maintenance operations environment
  • Attainment of a four-year college degree (Preferred)
  • FCC Radio license (Preferred)
