Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

Provide direct patient care to pediatric oncology patients, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment monitoring.

Administer chemotherapy and other cancer-related therapies per established protocols and safety guidelines.

Monitor for and manage side effects, infections, and other complications related to cancer and treatment.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, child life specialists, social workers, etc.) to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Patient and Family Support

Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and symptom management.

Offer emotional support and resources to help families cope with the challenges of pediatric cancer.
