Job Description
Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI machines to create detailed images of the inside of a patient's body, which are used by doctors to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Positioning patients correctly and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Maintaining equipment and providing excellent patient care
- Reviewing patient medical history and doctor's orders to ensure accurate imaging procedures
- Explaining procedures to patients and addressing any questions or concerns
- Preparing and positioning the MRI room for each procedure
- Conducting MRI scans and adjusting settings as needed
- Monitoring patient safety during procedures and responding to any concerns
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- ARRT certification in MRI
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
