Job Summary:
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computed tomography scanners, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
Responsibilities:
- Position patients properly on the CT table to obtain necessary images, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Verify patient information, including medical history and allergies, to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate imaging protocols.
- Review CT images for quality, ensuring all required areas are captured and images meet diagnostic standards.
- Document imaging procedures, patient information, and any adverse events or changes in patient status.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
- Experience working with computed tomography scanners and related equipment.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Adherence to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
