Client Services Director

Magnet is hiring a Client Services Director.We're a growth architecture firm. We build websites, run SEO and PPC, and ship brand systems for mid-market B2B companies. We're a small, senior team. Every person here owns outcomes, not tasks.This role owns the client experience end to end. You're the voice of Magnet to our portfolio, the connective tissue between clients and the production team, and the operator who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.The stack: Linear, Notion, Slack, Gmail, Figma, Harvest, and a deep set of agentic workflows that handle email triage, meeting prep, client health scoring, and status digests so you can spend your time on the conversations and decisions that actually move the work.Here's what makes this different from every other CSD job post:→ You direct the agentic workflow, not just the project tracker. AI handles monitoring, prep, and reporting scaffolds. You handle judgment, escalation, and the conversation that closes the loop.→ You own the relationship, not just the timeline. Every email, call, and status note reflects the quality of our work. Clients stay because of the experience you create.→ Scope discipline is the job. You catch scope creep before it becomes a problem. You know when to push back, when to flex, and when to log it for the next retainer cycle.→ Small senior team, no middle management. You translate client needs into clear briefs for designers and engineers. You write the briefs, run the syncs, and own the Linear board.→ Process is a deliverable. You identify friction in the delivery pipeline and fix it. You document what works so the team can repeat it.You've spent 2 to 5 years in client services, project management, or account management at a digital agency, marketing firm, or professional services company. You write a clear, warm, professional client email in under three minutes. You track details naturally. You're calm under pressure and proactive without being told. You've used AI tools in real work, not just experimented with them. You're located in the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky metro area or willing to be on-site regularly.Full-time · Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid) · $80k-$100k
