What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Magneson Tractor Service Inc?
We are looking for a construction laborer for our underground construction company. This is an entry level positiom, but experience with underground construction/plumbing/utility work a plus.
Your skills and experience will successfully allow you to work with a crew and complete assigned project tasks on time following direction. You must be well-organized, safety oriented, and a team player.
Responsibilities
- Complete tasks efficiently and as directed
- Adhere to company safety and quality standards
- Proper maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Accurately complete project installations per written or verbal instructions
- Safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles and trailers
Requirements
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Use powered and manual hand tools
- Keep job site clean
- Maintain tools and equipment as needed
- Familiar with construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines
- Familiar with construction drawings, plans and blueprints
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Problem-solving abilities
- Valid DL and clean driving record
Pay is based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.90 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
