Responsibilities
Role
The Waste/Recycling Operator has the qualifications and business acumen to effectively assist the Winder/Raw Materials Operator
Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand knowledge that allows assistance in both the Winder or Raw Materials operator
- Operate the reclaim tower, shredder and baler
- Stack bales in the reclaim room
- Slab rolls that have been culled when needed
- Check ITKs once per shift
- Maintain the pucketizer in Dry Waste room
- Assist with rework if time permits
- Responsible for housekeeping in the Dry Waste room
- Inspect forklift and scales daily
- Assist with prewrap and core cutter tasks
- Ensure tools are on the shadow board in the dry waste room
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Communicate with team members as needed, including a shift hand-off with previous and oncoming operator on shift review and planning
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience with GMP principles.
