Warehouse - Electronics QC Tester

Magnakom is an electronics recycling company specializing in the lifecycle management of consumer electronics including remarketing, refurbishing, and recycling. We are actively seeking tech-savvy individuals interested in a full-time permanent position in our company. This position has potential for growth, dependent on the skillsets of the applicant.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Control Associate will assist with the sorting, testing, and repurposing of reusable IT Assets to ensure that materials are handled in the most eco-friendly manner. Additional responsibilities include testing cell phone hardware, data entry, and organizing of devices for resale. This position is available to start immediately. Day to day duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Break down pallets of customer IT assets and sort into various hardware types
• Scan incoming product into inventory system
• Charging, spot checking, and prepare devices for software testing
• Test and data-wipe cell phones
• Inspect and determine cosmetic grade for each asset
• Perform data-entry within inventory management system
• Maintain inventory accuracy and a high level of attention to detail at all times
• Keep a clean and safe workspace and optimize process efficiencies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Follow quality control standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Complete diligent reporting of IT assets into computer system

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Must have a high school diploma.

2) Must be able to regularly life/move objects that are 10-50 lb

3) Basic computer skills

4) Interest in tech, mobile devices, and computers

5) Must be able to pass a basic background check.

6) Must be permitted to work in the US

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
