Job Title: Production Clerk
Position Summary
Magna Legal Services is seeking a detail-oriented record retrieval Production Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and organizing medical billing and business records for use in civil litigation. Your work will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with client requirements. This position involves quality control, electronic document processing, scanning, archiving, and finalizing records for distribution in various formats, including printed documents and digital files. As a Production Clerk, your responsibilities will include scanning documents and will require you to stand for extended periods of time to scan documents.
This position is on-site at our office in Houston, Texas.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify records against patient information, client specifications, record type, and dates of service.
- Scanning and archiving records according to client preference, including electronic bates numbering and bookmarking.
- Process records based on client preferences, including scanning, Bates labeling, tabbing, and bookmarking.
- Organize and prepare records for our clients.
- Scan, archive, print, and bind records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Upload records to our secure website and notify clients when they become available.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
- General computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows-based applications.
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to commute to the Houston, TX office.
