PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Surgery Center
Location: Bedford Park, IL
Job Type: Part-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience ($38.49-$50.10)
Schedule: 20-25hours/week. Must be able to work Thursdays Hours vary based on surgery schedule – No weekends, nights, or holidays

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU RN . The ideal candidate will provide post-anesthesia care for surgical patients, ensuring safe and effective recovery from sedation or anesthesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and provide post-operative care.
- Assess patient vitals and manage pain control.
- Educate patients and families on post-operative instructions.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Respond to emergencies and administer necessary interventions.
Qualifications:
Active RN License in IL (Required)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification (or willingness to obtain upon start date)
Minimum 1 year PACU, ICU, or ER experience (ASC experience preferred)
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
