In this role, you will be working at our customer’s location in Lemont (IL). Titled as Store Clerk, you will be providing customer service and sales of PPE to employees to include safety shoes, RX Safety eyewear, gloves, gas meter monitoring products, and more. We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills who is computer savvy with inventory management and organizational skills. In addition, you will receive products and stock the items in the store, greet customers and fulfill their orders, enter the transactions in the computer, and other duties as required.
This is a full time, hourly paid position working Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with extended hours for 2 months with Overtime. Magid offers comprehensive benefits to include medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, profit sharing and more!
Skills Needed
- Obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identity Card)
- Math and reading skills
- Customer interaction skills

- Computer literate-Excel and Word
- Problem solving and strong communication skills
- Ability to muti-task in a fast-paced environment across various projects
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
- Work extended hours (OT) during customer planned events
- Must pass 9-hour Safety Course, required by customer and pass
- Fluent in English

In order to start at the client location, you will be required to attend 2 days of training and have a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identity Card). Any costs are covered by Magid.
Note, to qualify for a TWIC, you must:
- Be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident
- Be able to present personal proof of identity (birth certificate, social security card, etc.)
- Pass a background, security, fingerprinting, and drug screening
- Receives products and stocks the items in the store.
- Greets customers and fulfills their orders for personal protective equipment.
- Assist customers by fitting them with items such as clothing, glasses, etc.
- Learn and navigate through various computer systems, platforms, and applications for customer-facing and inventory management activities
- Act as onsite subject matter for gas detection equipment and program
- Assist with cycle counts/inventory
- Assist store supervisor to execute all aspects of store operations
