We are a consumer electronics manufacturer seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing Quality Control team as an Entry Level Quality Control Technician in the Hayward area. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products by conducting inspections, performing tests, and documenting findings. The ideal candidate possesses excellent hands-on skills. The QC Technician is responsible for carefully handling critical cosmetic products & following standard operation procedure (SOP) inspection guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain valuable experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections of products for defects, such as scratches, blemishes and dimensional inaccuracies.
- Perform basic quality control tests, such as dimensional measurements, paint color verification, and functional tests.
- Collect and record inspection data accurately and efficiently in electronic or paper-based systems.
- Identify and report any quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other quality-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Some experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred, but not required.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, at times frequently.
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License
- Candidate must have reliable transportation.
