CNC Machine Operator and Setup (hayward / castro valley)
A dynamic leader in the consumer electronics industry is seeking Machine Setup/Operator to add to our Machine Shop capacity
The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and characteristics:
-Familiarity with HAAS/Fanuc machinery is a plus
-Lathe experience is a plus
-Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
-Ability to perform basic first article inspection independently
-Collaborative, team-oriented, natural learner
-Dedicated, responsible, hard-working, resourceful, and disciplined
-Must communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written
Physical Requirements:
This manufacturing position is in machining and manufacturing environment. The position requires the ability to do heavy lifting (70 lbs.) bend, stoop, squat, climb, step up, stand and walk as associated with Machine Shop activities. Ability to work on a computer, communicate clearly and understand instructions.
This is a full-time, hourly position working a minimum of 38 hours per week Mon-Fri, but may require longer hours seasonally. We offer an outstanding benefit package that includes medical and vision (Kaiser), dental (Delta), 401k with match (all after probationary periods), and PTO.
