What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Security Engineer With Python & API Integration position at Magicforce?
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.
Responsibilities: -
· REST API Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting REST APIs.
· Must be able to read API documentation, construct API calls, and understand authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys, bearer tokens).
· Python Programming: Practical, production-ready Python experience for building tool integrations and automations.
· Security Tool Familiarity: Hands-on experience with at least three (3) of the following platforms: Tenable Nessus or Tenable VM (vulnerability management) Imperva WAF (web application firewall) Brinqa (security orchestration, automation, and response - SOAR) Synopsys Polaris or similar SCA tools (software composition analysis)
· Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (EDR/MDR) Crowdstrike Falcon or Falcon Shield (endpoint protection/detection and response)
· IBM Guardium (database activity monitoring and security) Trend Micro VisionOne (threat intelligence and incident response) Zscaler ZIA or ZPA (cloud-based security - optional but valuable)
What we’re looking for
Educational Qualifications: -
§ Engineering Degree - BE / ME / BTech / M Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc.
§ Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
Mandatory Technical skills: -
Security engineer with Python and API integration experience.
Salary : $60 - $70
