Are you ready to make a difference in a child's life? Join a small, independent pediatric clinic that is lead by an occupational therapist.

As a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will implement treatment plans for children with developmental delays or disabilities, working under an Occupational Therapist (OT) to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living (ADLs) like dressing and feeding, while also educating and supporting families to foster independence in a clinic setting, handling documentation and equipment use. Key Responsibilities:

  • Therapeutic Intervention: Carry out therapy activities, exercises, and play-based interventions to improve motor skills, sensory integration, and functional abilities.
  • Patient Education: Teach children and their parents/caregivers strategies and techniques to manage challenges and perform daily tasks more independently.
  • Care Plan Implementation: Work with the supervising OT to implement treatment plans for conditions like Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and sensory processing disorders.
  • Skill Development: Help children with self-feeding, dressing, writing, and other self-care and school-related tasks.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely patient records, progress notes, and billing information.
