The successful candidate will be hired to provide semi–private math tutoring for high school and middle school students at our location (semi–private = 2 students 1 tutor).

Requirements:
- Must be available from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at least two evenings per week.
- Two years' experience teaching/tutoring high school mathematics (or a bachelor's degree in mathematics)
- Must be fluent in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, College Algebra and Precalculus/Trigonometry.
- Must be able to quickly assess students' strengths and weaknesses.
- Must be able to explain mathematical concepts in a variety of ways.
- Must be able to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
- Must be cheerful, encouraging and patient.
- Must be dependable, punctual and responsible.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high–quality math tutoring to help each student meet their goals.
- Adapting instruction to meet the needs of individual students.
- Calling parents with a brief summary of student progress at the end of each month.
- Showing up 10 min early to all sessions.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
