Job Description: The Purchasing Associate will be responsible for sourcing new materials, ensuring that the purchased products and materials meet specific technical specifications, specific pricing levels, ensuring timely deliveries, and resolving any supply issues or discrepancies.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Create purchase orders, contact vendors, and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible prices and terms.
- Monitor stock levels, identify reorder points, and ensure sufficient quantities are in stock to meet demand.
- Organize and maintain warehouse location.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, address issues, and explore new vendor options.
- Track spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budgets.
- Analyze market trends, supply performance, and purchase data to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and other relevant documentation.
- Receive material deliveries and track orders physically coming to the main warehouse location.
- Work with all pre-con, division managers, and field employees to ensure procurement process is handled start to finish.

Physical Demands:
- May be required to occasionally lift over 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to work around operating equipment, work in confined spaces, stand for long periods of time, walk, reach, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, and climb ladders.
