Position Overview

The Slitter Set-Up Operator works closely with the slitter crew and plays a key role in production success. This position is responsible for machine operation, processing materials, in-process inspections, directing support personnel, and coordinating production requirements with plant management.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily production schedules for assigned machinery
• Set up, power, and operate associated slitting equipment
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure product quality
• Provide production samples as needed
• Direct and support assigned production personnel
• Coordinate workflow and requirements with plant management
• Complete all required administrative and production documentation
• Train slitter helpers and set-up personnel to advance into operator roles
• Follow all plant safety standards and attendance requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned
