Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment. Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in developing and implementing lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Support students in literacy education and math through one-on-one or small group instruction.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students to encourage their participation and understanding of the material.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom setting conducive to learning.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to address the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education support.
- Utilize Montessori methods or daycare experience to enhance student learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs and achievements.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
