What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Mobile Technician position at Magic City Auto Group?
Self-motivated and Passionate about cars while providing outstanding customer service? Magic City Auto Group wants you! Magic City Ford in Lexington, VA is seeking Mobile Service Technicians. Our mobile technicians offer excellent customer service and convenience by servicing our client’s vehicle needs at their location. Be the face of Magic City Ford’s Mobile Service as we build and grow this new service in our community, developing new and trusting relationships.
Skills required:
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent hand eye coordination with a steady hand
- Professional, positive, friendly attitude
- Basic computer ability
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate diagnostic equipment
- Previous vehicle maintenance experience – Preferred
- Ford/Lincoln FSE Certifications a plus
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Engage with clients daily and represent Magic City Auto Group
- Meet with clients at their homes, workplaces, or other locations desired
- Consult with client to determine work to be performed
- Perform multi point inspections, oil changes, belts, wiper replacement, filter changes, tire rotations, fluid changes, brake changes, battery changes, etc.
- Document all work performed and recommended
- Perform work in a clean and efficient manner, while leaving no trace clean-up
- Participate in Ford/Lincoln sponsored training programs, schooling, and events
- Maintain logs required for the mobile van
- Recall Replacements
