What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation position at Magi Foods, LLC?
General Function: To provide Sanitation in support of bakery operations.
Reports to: Sanitation Supervisor
Positions Supervised/
Managed: None
Responsibilities:
- Clean restrooms
- Clean break room
- Clean and sanitize production area.
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment.
- Report any concern regarding equipment conditions and safety to management immediately.
Qualifications:
- Willingness and ability to comply with GMP’s and Food safety requirements.
- Ability to safely disassemble, reassemble, clean and sanitize production equipment.
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions to Specifications.
- Able to complete any required documentation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move and lift objects up to 50 lbs. – frequent.
- Able to wear required Uniforms & PPE – continuous.
- Able to climb, bend reach and perform repetitive motions
- Able to work with cleaning chemicals in a wet environment.
Standards of Performance:
- Accurate completion of daily paperwork
- Maintain equipment in a sanitary state when not being used.
- Maintain Sanitation Standards
- Observe and follow company policies and procedures.
- Observe and follow company safety procedures.
Authority: To stop a process for personal or food safety and or quality reasons. Use cleaning chemicals to label directions.
