Sales and Retailer Marketing Specialist
Summary: The Maggie Sottero Designs (MSD) Sales and Retailer Marketing Specialist reports to the Director of Customer Success Director (DCS) and is an integral member of the Customer Success and Sales Teams. This person will support Retailer Success and occasionally travel to Market Events and Retailer locations to support retailers in increasing brand engagement, customer experience, and sales.
The Sales and Retailer Marketing Specialist is meant to embody the Maggie Sottero corporate identity in appearance, demeanor, values, product knowledge, and ethics in support of the MSD mission, vision, and values.
Mission: Develop customer base to market and promote the Maggie Sottero Designs labels to drive brand awareness, advocacy, and sales.
Outcomes: To increase Retailer’s marketing efforts and sales outcomes to best connect with today’s bride and the promotional efforts of Maggie Sottero.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Communications and Resources
- Creates trainings, articles, presentations, and communications in partnership with the DCS to increase selling skills, foster connection with today’s bride; build brand awareness, product knowledge, and customer loyalty to ultimately drive in-store sales.
- Create and maintains Retailer Coaching resources: Stylist and Marketing eblasts, presentations, and educational guides.
- Manage Retailer Facebook Community, Online Resource Libraries, and Landing Pages.
- Support promotional campaigns for Retailers and Stylists in partnership with the Communications Coordinator.
- Leverages market and corporate intelligence, and retailer feedback, to refine training curriculum to best support the development needs of each store.
Sales and Marketing Coaching
- Performs distance-based trainings to help retailers increase brand awareness.
- Support shops on event preparation and marketing.
- Support in the creation, delivery and promotion of In-Shop and distance-based trainings, webinars, and videos.
Departmental Collaboration
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to retailer marketing content and promote retailer events.
- Active and positive contribution to the Sales team.
- Represents all Maggie Sottero labels with a strong understanding of bridal fashion and key design and product differentiators, and benefits.
- Supports salesforce as needed with new account onboarding coaching calls to build long-term customer loyalty and success.
- Participates in biannual salesforce trainings.
- Builds and maintains relationships with Sales Agents and Retailers.
- Amplifies Maggie Sottero Designs through a positive can-do attitude and willingness to evolve and grow with the role and the organization.
- Research and documents market intelligence.
- Attends Trade Shows to work with customers and sales agents and aids with set up and tear down (required).
