Role Description
This role can be part-time (approx. 20 hrs/week) or full-time (40hrs/week), with the option to work hybrid or in-office at our Lauderhill, FL showroom/warehouse. An Event Specialist / Sales Rep role involves managing all aspects of event management, including building relationships with clients, creating proposals, coordinating logistics, and collaborating with vendors to execute exceptional events.This role requires actively pursuing sales opportunities, creating and delivering proposals, and maintaining consistent communication to ensure client satisfaction. The Event Specialist / Sales Representative will also assist in marketing events and showcasing the value of The Magen Group’s unique expertise. This position s both salaried and comission.
Qualifications
- Event or entertainment management, vendor coordination, and team collaboration
- Sales experience, including client prospecting, creating proposals, and reviewing budgets
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in technology, including event software and basic Microsoft Office tools
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as needed for events
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
