Call Center Operator - Switchboard Operator – Onsite only

 

Position Highlights:

Magellan Solutions USA is a veteran-owned Call Center and BPO company with a track record of performance. Magellan is actively recruiting for Call Center Representatives and Information Desk opportunities for a Federal client in Northport, NY

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answers incoming calls and communicate with clients with respect, courtesy, empathy, tact, and professionalism.
  • Transfer to the appropriate extension or individual accurately.
  • Troubleshoots situations accurately, quickly, and efficiently for customers on the phone.
  • Be comfortable handling calls from a variety of callers under complex and stressful circumstances.
  • Maintain an above average attendance record.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a Real ID or current passport
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills (phone etiquette).
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and highly organized.
  • Prior customer service or call center experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Able to work without direct supervision.
